With the EB-5 once again accepting EB-5 India applications after the Reform and Integrity Act of 2022, immigration by investment is open to those wanting to gain citizenship in the United States. For Indian-born investors, however, it seems time is of the essence. Under the EB-5 Visa program, 10,000 visas are allocated annually. Out of these 10,000 visas, only 7% of yearly granted visas are allowed to come from any one country, and Indian-born investors have already oversubscribed. In US retrogression, a clause allowing for reserved categories offers a solution for those who act fast.
